Grats on converting what you have already. I know the process is always a pain in the ass (hence the grats). The grats though, doesn\'t go towards the theme/layout/whatever. I personally do not like it at all. We are Nodekians, we don\'t need bells and whisels! Please go back, I like the old. If you think I am the only one... PUT UP A POLL, you\'ll be surprised!

I like it. I think it actually looks pretty smooth. It\'s easier to navigate, and everythings just looks a little better. Nothing wrong with imagery, if it were bells and whistles it would have flash players and songs gallore.

Just because you have never seen them doesn\'t mean they weren\'t on there. Perhaps they took the liberty to make a new forum name? Something more suitable than \'womensrus\' or the like.

I don\'t know about a theme selector. But yeah, what did happen to the poll.

Honestly, from the poll, and the obviously sparse amount of people actually appearing to use this new site, it might not be a bad idea to listen to Cehotec heh.

Personally, I don\'t see the point of a fancy new site if it lacks the functionality of the old one.

Explain lacks functionality.
The boards in general are no different content wise to the old one... there are bits that don\'t work on it I grant you, such as the go to the last post button.

The site on the other hand is still missing the ranks, which he has said he will move... what else?
Instead of bitching about it why not tell him what you want from the place, create a list of things for him to look into...

I\'m not bitching about it. It just seems sad that, for whatever reason, the entire site was revamped to a version that is, to all appearances, not half as popular. I can understand that perhaps the forums were being hacked or abused or whatever and needed to be replaced, but surely that doesn\'t require bulldozing everything good as well.
