Idlers, AFKers and Ranks
 

I'd like to suggest, that nodeka keep track of the last time a player moved, and if that player hadn't moved in over an hour, they be considered AFK and NOT listed on the ranks.

Reason i say this is cause there's no point in having ranks if its just going to be filled with people who are AFK, the players who are actually playing should be benefiting from it. It would just be a complete waste of the bonus, and system.

Maybe the number of ranks available in each catagory should be increased

As per the other thread, I'd say this is beating a dead horse, rank affects are a privaledge to those who EARNED them, it's their decision to stay logged afk or log out.

Okay, so I'll make a script to come back from afk every hour, move west, move east and then go back to AFK.

I agree with Torment that if you aren't in the all-time top for each category, any time you get it should be considered lucky. I liked Iblis' suggestion of most ranks be an "all-time" kind of thing, and having other ranks based on performance over a certain recent time period, to foster competition on two levels.
