Well, I think the skill shouldn't affect you, just enemies in the area of effect. It wouldn't prevent them from moving at all, just no flying/climbing/swimming for an extended period of time, restricting their movement a bit. Your opponents would still be able to move, so it's not as powerful as enmesh in that sense, but you could hit groups of people/mobs, making up the power gap. It could be one of the subclass ultimate skills for one of the subclasses with an otherwise unused skill. Yeah, it would be annoying, but you who wants to make their opponents happy anyway?
