Well, after several months of no website updates, I finally found some time to start developing stuff again and my first order of business is a new web interface for the items database.  Back when I was developing plugins for UMC, i created the ToolChest which would monitor and populate a new items database with items as you play with no user interaction.  It just sits in the background.  Only problem was that the only way to access that data was through the ToolChest plugin as well.  But now that data can be accessed by the public.

The new web interface has both a simple way for searching for items and an advanced.  The simple way is just searching by name, but if you need a specific item that gives a specific attributes you may do that as well.  For example, if you'd like to look for a chest piece with lots of hit, in the search box you would type the follow without single quotes:

'type=chest and hit>10'

You can search for pretty much any attributes, including armor class.  The page at first glance only gives a generic look at the items, name, classes that can wear it and bonuses, but when you click on the item, it goes into more detail.  There will be more development on that page to come which includes the ability to display item bonuses as if they where super unique.  There will be player information integrated into it but that will come at a later time.  The database is at the following URL: http://db.nodeka411.net/ so go pick and prod, enjoy!
