Strike from the shadows: Usage: automatic Strike from the shadows is primarily an adjunct to the ambush skill. Setting an ambush requires patience and careful preparation, all for the sake of a single attack which will necessarily reveal and expose the ambusher (although hopefully not until the relevant back has been stabbed). A successful shadow strike, however, will allow the user to utilize the cover of shadows even after the ambush has been initiated. Whenever this skill is successful, all of the shadow-striker's attacks will be treated as flanking attacks for a brief duration after the ambush is sprung - a powerful offensive benefit. A player who has fully mastered this ability will find him or herself able to strike from the shadows after every ambush, even if the ambushing attack itself fails to land. While the tactical benefit of this skill is great, it also possesses a strong limitation in its very short duration. The shadow-striker has only a scant few seconds in which to capitalize on the confusion of the prey. The duration of the benefit is directly correlated to the user's agility. Note that once the user has enfolded himself in the shadows, s/he may continue to strike from concealment for the full duration - even if the original victim is killed. Finally, strike from the shadows provides an additional benefit to users who exceed 100% mastery, in the form of a damage bonus to all flanking attacks.
